    Course Title: Family and Relationships

    Level: Diploma

    Course Objective: 

    The Family and Relationships course at TEACH aims to explore the foundational aspects of 

    family life and relationships within the context of Coptic Christian Orthodox beliefs and values. 

    Through the exploration of key topics in Modules I and II, participants will gain insight into the 

    significance and aspects of marriage, parenthood, and family dynamics, fostering a deeper 

    understanding of how these values shape individual lives and communities.

    Learning Outcomes: 1) Clear understanding of the essence of the Christian family.

    2) Comprehension of optimum interrelations between family

    members as the nucleus of a healthy society. 

    Course Structure:

    Module I: Marriage

    Relationships

    Healthiness of relationships 

    Intimacy (Sex and more)

    The meaning of Love

    God’s Involvement

    Divorce 

    Module II: Family

    Parenthood

    Adolescents 

    Bonding with kids

    Healthy sexual growth 

    Homosexuality 

    Assessment:

    - Two term exams to evaluate overall comprehension and proficiency. 

    Prerequisites:

    Family and Relationships TEACH certificate. 

    Delivery Method: 

    The course will be delivered entirely online through a learning management system. All lectures 

    are delivered by Zoom. Participants will have access to recorded lecture videos, reading 

    materials, and discussion forum on the course website.

    Duration: October 2023-June 2024

    Certificate: 

    Upon successful completion of the course and passing the final exam, participants will receive 

    a certificate of completion of a Family and Relationships TEACH Diploma Course. The Diploma 

    will only be received upon completion and passing of the two term exams.
