Our mission is to preserve and promote the rich cultural, religious and artistic heritage of the Coptic people. We are committed to exploring and documenting every facet of this heritage, using rigorous research and recognized academic methods. Through our initiatives, we aim to make this heritage accessible to an international audience, while respecting its origins and presenting it in a contemporary light.

Study of Coptic history

Tracing Coptic religious, social and political history to the highest academic standards

Coptic heritage presentation

Presenting Coptic heritage in European and other countries.

Transcription of Coptic Oral Music

Transcribe Coptic music from oral tradition into Western notation, preserving the earliest musical forms where possible.

Simplified teaching of Coptic music

Teaching simplified methods of reading and learning Coptic music using Western notations.

Research into the Origin of Coptic Music

Investigate the origins of Coptic music where these can be determined.

Analysis of Coptic hymnology

Establish spiritual understanding and practice of Coptic hymnology.

Encourage research into the origins of Coptic music, and publish scientific findings in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

Analysis of Coptic Iconography

Represent the scientific, theological and spiritual power of Coptic iconography, studying its origins wherever possible and comparing it with that of other denominational arts.
