Fr Morkos Fakhry
I was ordained
as a Coptic Orthodox Priest on the 27th of February 2014 after a long career in
clinical surgery and surgical research
in London along
with long service
in theological teaching as layman in the Coptic Orthodox
Church. Now, I am currently serving as a priest at St Mary &
Pope Kyrillos VI Coptic Orthodox
Church, Diocese of London. I have continued my academic research after
ordination. I studied Theology at the University of Oxford, and was granted a
Diploma. Then I completed a Master of Letters in Bible and Contemporary World with Merit at
the University of St Andrews, Scotland. I published a book exploring the use of
the Book of Revelation in the Church of Alexandria (Can be found https://ecpubs.com/product/book-of- revelation/).
I’m now teaching at The European Academy for Coptic Heritage (TEACH) the
Development of Church Doctrine in the first five centuries.. QUALIFICATIONS
